What is in a core dump?
A key dump is a human printing or copying to a longer channel (for example, to a permanent hard disk) of random access (RAM) memory of the contents at a certain time. It can be considered a complete “snapshot” in RAM. The kernel dump is mainly needed for debugging the program.
